GDP is a small national-accounts publication from Younivi, based in New Zealand. There is no research department, sales desk or invented team of analysts. It is an information project, not a bank or a financial-advice provider, and nothing here is a recommendation.
The site covers GDP in current US dollars and at purchasing-power parity, both per-capita measures, real GDP growth, population, GNI, the GDP deflator, the current-account balance and exports as shares of GDP. Pages offer a filterable chart, alphabetical table, explanation and source citation.
GDP republishes World Bank national-accounts indicators. Taiwan's current-US-dollar GDP, GDP per capita and real GDP growth come from DGBAS dataset 44218. Each page identifies its source and observation year. World Bank data are used under CC BY 4.0. DGBAS dataset 44218 is used with attribution under the Open Government Data License, version 1.0. Each page links the source and terms. We do not resell producer data or present it as our own.
Country desks use the same figures and show a related-economy comparison set; they do not introduce uncollected national statistical-office series. Singapore and South Africa have direct-access desks marked noindex and are absent from the Country selector. Changing language changes presentation, not source currency, geography or values.
We do not alter source observations, interpolate missing years or splice histories from different sources. Current and future calendar years are excluded. Earlier published observations may include producer estimates and revisions; a rebuild can change a past value when its source changes. Taiwan and Liechtenstein are unavailable in the PPP GDP and PPP-per-capita series until a suitable source with verified commercial-reuse permission is available. Missing observations are not zero. DGBAS dataset 44218 does not supply a PPP replacement. Taiwan's population, GNI, GDP deflator, current account and exports are unavailable on this site. A missing series means this publication has no usable observation from an approved source; it does not mean that no official statistics exist.
